For Location Operators (Franchisees)

For Locations

As a location operator, you manage the digital presence for your specific franchise location. Your brand has set up the overall structure — your job is to keep your location’s information current and make the most of the tools available to you.

  • Update your location profile (address, phone, hours, description)
  • Edit the content sections your brand has allowed you to modify
  • Add and manage services that generate dedicated SEO pages
  • View and manage form leads submitted through your site
  • Configure forms that capture leads from visitors
  • Set per-location SEO title, meta description, and business listing links
  • View your site in the page editor to see what visitors see

Your brand admin controls the overall template and design — the areas you can edit are determined by the governance settings your franchisor has configured.

Your brand admin invites you by email from the Team page. When you receive the invite:

  1. Click the link in the invitation email.
  2. Set your password.
  3. Log in at the KynectLocal admin URL your brand uses.

See Logging In for details on the login flow, including how to reset your password if needed.

When you log in for the first time, the Franchisee Onboarding wizard guides you through completing your location profile and reviewing your go-live readiness score. It takes a few minutes and only runs once — clicking Skip also marks it complete so it won’t reappear.

See Franchisee Onboarding Wizard for a full walkthrough.

Your location profile contains the core information — name, address, phone, hours — that appears on your site and in search results. Keeping it accurate matters for local search visibility.

Go to Locations → [Your Location] → Edit Profile to update your profile.

Your brand admin controls the overall layout, but you may have editable sections on your pages. Go to your location’s page list and click Edit to open the page editor.

See Editing Your Site for a walkthrough.

If your brand has service pages enabled, you can add the services your location offers. Each service gets its own dedicated page with its own URL — more services means more indexed pages.

See Service Pages for how to add and manage services.

When visitors fill out contact forms on your site, those submissions appear in the Leads section. Review new leads and mark them as Viewed or Archived as you follow up.

See Managing Forms for how forms work and how to view lead submissions.

You can set a custom SEO title and meta description for your location’s page, add business profile links (Google, Yelp, Facebook), and control whether your page is indexed.

See Local SEO for the full field reference.
